If the PH10 alone is already spectacular, with the PSU it takes it to the next level. They make a perfect pair that many more expensive preamps can't match.

Separate power supply with multiple transformers equipped with high-end components and power transformer, compatible with the PH-10 phono preamplifier.
The PSU-10 external power supply has been designed to improve the performance of the Gold Note PH-10 phono preamplifier, thanks to its Super Inductive Dual Choke hybrid design.
The PSU-10 features an inductive filter on the analog stage and a dual choke design powered by a dual inductor driving both the negative and positive high current stages. The exclusive Gold Note Dual Choke design perfectly filters the signal voltage to eliminate any interference and electrical noise from the AC power system.
With its massive power supply, it provides a protective screen against the AC power grid. By providing complete isolation, it creates the ideal working environment for the PH-10 phono preamplifier to deliver the best of its potential.

Combined with the PH-10 phono preamp, it’s a marvel. Judging by the various reviews in the specialist press, the PSU-10 reveals the intrinsic qualities of the PH-10. I can only confirm that it brings more dynamics, a wider and deeper soundstage, tighter bass with more punch. In short, everything is better across the board. However, I did replace the PSU-10’s original power cable with a higher-quality cable and noticed an improvement in dynamics, even though it was already very satisfying with the original cable. Listening has become more composed. Truly a very good duo, this PSU-10 and the PH-10.

Undeniably, it improves the dynamics of the PH-10. More body and attack on strings and percussion. I also notice a noticeably more "3D" soundstage.
Be careful about placement relative to the preamp: positioning it right next to it can generate hum. It is preferable to stack it on top, or to keep it at a significant distance.
