The A35.8 is Primare’s most powerful and flexible multi-channel amplifier, designed to meet the needs of virtually any high-performance multi-channel system thanks to its ability to bridge each pair of channels to mono for an incredible level of power and system building options, including 1500W of total output in a fully bridged bi-amplified stereo configuration.

Circuit Layout

The foundation of the A35.8 is the largest power supply Primare has ever designed, incorporating APFC and soft-clipping circuitry, implemented to ensure stable performance up to the limits of its capabilities. The ingenious design of the A35.8 circuit layout provides the most direct delivery and even distribution of power to the amplifier modules embedded in heat sinks that isolate them from any power supply noise. In turn, this innovative construction isolates the input and output stage from any noise the amp modules might produce. Input and output signals are transmitted to and from the amplifier modules via an uninterrupted ribbon of printed circuit board threaded through a channel in the heat sinks for the shortest possible signal path.

The result is a naturally fast, clean, and agile sound over an ultra-wide frequency range, with exceptional headroom and ultra-low noise, capable of bringing the most sophisticated systems to life, both multi-channel and bi-amplified stereo.

The bridging capabilities of the A35.8 allow it to be used in a variety of system configurations and have been designed to perfectly match the A35.2 stereo amplifiers to enable a variety of multi-channel system configurations.

A35.8 is the most powerful amplifier Primare has designed using our exclusive UFPD 2 Class D analog amplification technology, making it ideal for powering the critical front array of speakers in a high-performance home theater. Featuring a balanced input and bridging capabilities, A35.2 produces 200W into 8Ω and in bridged mode 800W into 8 ohms.
