NEO S is an all-in-one device with functions such as HiFi digital music decoding, streaming, headphone amplifier functions, and movie playback. It inherits the know-how of NEO X with a thickened aluminum chassis and a 5-inch OLED screen.
High-speed SSD
NEO S is equipped with a 256G high-speed SSD for local music playback. High-quality music files can be easily stored, and data reading is stable and fast. The heating and noise issues of traditional mechanical hard drives can be avoided.
OLED touch screen
The 5-inch high-definition OLED color touch screen is beautifully integrated in full screen. Practical operations can be performed with the collaboration of buttons, such as switching audio sources, adjusting volume, system settings, and displaying playback status.
Dual ES9068 DAC
NEO S first uses two ES9068 DACs as the core of audio decoding. Two-channel audio is decoded independently to avoid interference and obtain better SNR and dynamic range. Supports up to DSD512, PCM768@32bit, and hardware decoding in the extended 8-fold three-layer MQA encoding format.
Dual power supplies
Separate digital and analog power supplies to eliminate interference, which greatly improves sound purity. A linear power supply designed for analog audio circuits that consists of large multi-winding toroidal transformers. Switching power supply with low ripple and magnetic leakage interference.
Fully balanced circuit
The NEO S circuit adopts a fully balanced design with better noise immunity and low distortion filtering technology. Channel separation is improved, and the signal is stable by eliminating the common return circuit. Multi-level operational amplifier buffering and amplification fully simulate the signal processing path and bring natural sound quality.
4K UHD image quality
NEO S adopts the RTD1619 DR 64-bit A55 hexa-core processor. In addition to an efficient and stable system, it is also equipped with 4K UHD decoding and processing technology. UHD BD Blu-ray discs and homemade multimedia files are supported, up to 3840 x 2160 60Hz, HDR, and BT.2020 wide gamut.
HDR technology
NEO S not only supports ordinary HDR10 and HLG high dynamic range but also advanced HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technology. Dolby Vision metadata processing technology can provide a maximum brightness of 4,000 nits and 12-bit output (approximately 68 billion). Stunning brightness, contrast, and natural colors provide excellent image quality.
