GigaWatt LS-1 EVO+ 1.5m

GigaWatt LS-1 EVO+ is a new modified version of the power cable, from the LS-1-EVO reference cable series.

The priority of the LS series project was to obtain an uncompromising product, regardless of the production costs associated with the components used and assembly. The LS-1 EVO and LS-2 EVO cables reflect GigaWatt’s constant technological progress. They are the result of many years of experience and the effect of research supported by rigorous measurements and listening tests.

The unique feature of LS-1 EVO+ is the fact that no off-the-shelf components were used in the production process. The elements used in the construction of cables are sub-assemblies designed and produced by us, or manufactured by our collaborators according to precise GigaWatt specifications.

The assembly of the cables is entirely done by hand. The creation of a single piece of cable requires many hours of work by the specialist and all the stages of the production process take place under strict supervision, offering the best product quality and repeatability of the following elements.

The design is 7 x 1.5 mm2 lead, where each lead consists of 7 strands, spun in a tight pitch. The conductors are made of 5N purity silver-plated oxygen-free copper, produced according to our specifications. This design increases the active surface of the wire and makes the cable more flexible.

In the construction of the cables, great importance was also attached to the reduction of vibrations generated by the electromagnetic field induced around the conductors. The working wires are surrounded by a multilayer material, pouring out unwanted vibrations. From the outside, the cable is further protected by a black textile sheath made of polyolefin fibers and an antistatic mesh that prevents electrostatic buildup.

LS-1 EVO+ is particularly recommended for powering high energy consuming devices, although it can also successfully power reference audio and video systems. The cable is also available in C19 version, being an optional equipment for the best GigaWatt PC-4 EVO+ power conditioner.
