The GoldenEar Triton Seven is the smallest of the floorstanding speakers in the flagship Triton range. This compact tower speaker stands just 1.1m tall, but don’t let its size fool you. It’s packed with advanced technologies and sophisticated design features that deliver a powerful, immersive audio experience.
At the heart of the Triton Seven are 5.25” mid/bass drivers, strategically positioned for exceptional reach. This carefully engineered arrangement provides incredible dynamic range and extraordinary bass depth. The HVFR (High Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter, a hallmark of all GoldenEar speakers, ensures clear high-frequency reproduction without the breakup often present in dome tweeters.
Although the Triton Seven is the first Triton tower without a built-in powered subwoofer, it still delivers superbly deep, impactful bass akin to a subwoofer. This is achieved by combining advanced drivers with GoldenEar’s highly evolved, sophisticated bass-loading technologies. The speaker also features a pair of 8” GoldenEar passive radiators on the sides of the cabinet near the base, further enhancing its bass performance.
The Triton Seven Speaker is not only a sonic marvel but also a visual masterpiece. Its sleek design goes beyond aesthetics to play a crucial acoustic role. The narrow front baffle enhances imaging characteristics, delivering a precise, cabinet-coloration-free sonic experience.
The Triton Seven is equipped with a complex Linkwitz/Riley crossover. This device ensures a seamless transition between the D’Appolito Arrayed 5-1/4” cast-basket mid/bass drivers, contributing to a balanced sound.
