Luphonic H2 (with VM760SLC cell) white
Luphonic H2 Vinyl Turntable with VM760SLC Cartridge
The Luphonic H2 is a meticulously designed vinyl turntable that combines innovative design and premium materials to deliver an exceptional vinyl listening experience. Its unique H-shaped chassis is constructed from a resonance-optimized solid surface material sandwich, offering low resonance thanks to its high density and physical structure. This design minimizes interference from the platter bearing on the tonearm, ensuring optimal sound reproduction.
The chassis’s highly polished surface is the result of a complex process involving seven passes of grinding and polishing, resulting in a sleek and elegant appearance that is both visually stunning and pleasant to the touch. The platter is also made of solid surface material and measures 24 mm in height, weighing 1.9 kg for optimal stability and rotational inertia.
Precision Engineering and Advanced Technology
At the heart of the Luphonic H2 is a low-vibration synchronous motor, powered by precise sine and cosine waves via microprocessor-controlled motor electronics. This advanced technology ensures smooth operation and accurate speeds, with each motor control unit individually matched to its respective motor before delivery. The motor is decoupled from the turntable and tonearm, preventing mechanical influences from interfering with the musical information.
The H2 features a belt-drive system with a flat belt via a sub-platter, offering electronically selectable speeds of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. The speed accuracy is impressive, with 0.04% WRMS DIN, ensuring consistent and reliable performance. The turntable also includes height-adjustable feet for perfect leveling and stability on any surface.
Innovative Operation and Tonearm Design
One of the most striking features of the Luphonic H2 is its contactless operation using a puck without buttons or switches. Simply place the puck on the turntable to start playback at either 33 or 45 rpm, depending on which side of the puck is placed face down. The speed is visually displayed in easy-to-read red numerals, and playback can be stopped by slightly moving or removing the puck. This wear-free function prevents unauthorized use and adds a touch of modern elegance to the user experience.
The Luphonic H2 is equipped with the Luphonic K2 tonearm, a newly designed 9.5-inch radial tonearm featuring a classic gimbal suspension realized by high-quality Japanese precision ball bearings. The tonearm tube is made of carbon, while the headshell is manufactured from a special plastic produced in an additive process, combining low weight with high rigidity. The tonearm is easily adjustable in height and azimuth, and the counterweight and anti-skating weight are made of stainless steel. The anti-skating force can be adjusted between 0.21 g and 0.43 g, making it suitable for a wide range of cartridges.
Included Audio-Technica VM760SLC Cartridge
The white version of the Luphonic H2 is equipped with the renowned Audio-Technica VM760SLC cartridge, a moving magnet (MM) cartridge known for its excellent channel separation, extended frequency response, and precise tracking. The cartridge features a line contact stylus and a dual magnet design in a V-configuration for enhanced performance. Its aluminum alloy housing acts as a natural electrical shield to minimize vibrations and ensure optimal sound reproduction.
