Active Crossover

The PMC Active Twenty5.22i speakers use a custom analog active crossover that splits the frequency bands of the incoming line-level signal from the balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA inputs. Each amplifier amplifies only the appropriate signals for its driver, ensuring a harmonious integration, wide dispersion, and low distortion. The active crossover allows for stricter component tolerances and increased accuracy.

Cabinet Design

The speaker cabinets have a rhomboid parallelogram shape, with rear-sloping baffles to time-align the drivers. This design improves sound dispersion and ensures that the sound from both drivers reaches the listener’s ears simultaneously, creating a more natural listening experience.
