The NAD M10 V3 is an ultra-connected integrated stereo amplifier that combines a sophisticated music streamer and a 2x100W hybrid digital amplifier under 8 Ω (2x160W under 4 ohms) in a compact brushed aluminum chassis. Despite its cubic format of only 21.5 x 10 x 26 cm and weighing 5 kg, it incorporates the most advanced technologies in amplification, streaming, and sound processing.
The amplification section of the M10 V3 is based on NAD’s patented hybrid digital Ncore technology. This innovative architecture combines the advantages of digital amplifiers in terms of compactness and energy efficiency with the musicality and transparency of the best analog amplifiers. Capable of delivering 2x100W under 8 Ω continuously from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with less than 0.03% distortion, and dynamic peaks of 2x160W under 8 Ω and 2x300W under 4 ohms, the M10 V3 combines power and finesse to bring out the best in most hi-fi speakers.
On the source side, the M10 V3 is a complete streamer built around the renowned BluOS platform. Fully controllable from an iOS or Android smartphone/tablet, or from a computer, it provides access via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to major streaming services including Amazon Music Ultra HD, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, as well as web radios and your local library. Compatible with files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, MQA, and DSD, it harnesses the full potential of hi-res subscriptions.
To get the best from high-definition digital sources, the M10 V3 integrates an ESS Sabre ES9039 DAC, a benchmark capable of processing PCM streams up to 32-bit/768 kHz and performing MQA decoding and rendering. Combined with a low-noise amplification stage, it ensures high precision and dynamic range, with a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 85 dB.
The M10 V3 stands out for its automatic room acoustic calibration capabilities. It comes with a Dirac Live license limited to 500 Hz and can optionally receive a Dirac Live Full license to extend correction across the entire spectrum. But the big news is the support for Dirac Live Bass Control, which optimizes the integration of one or more subwoofers. Correction filters are calculated by the Dirac application and integrated into the M10 V3’s DSP. Multiple profiles can be saved and recalled from the remote control to adapt to listening conditions (listening position, curtains open or closed…).
Despite its compact format, the M10 V3 offers very comprehensive connectivity at the rear. It includes an HDMI eARC input to connect a TV and enjoy high-resolution audio streams, a phono input for MM cartridge turntables, optical and coaxial inputs, an analog input, a USB-A port, a pre-out, two subwoofer outputs, a headphone output, quality speaker terminals, and even an IR input, a 12V trigger output, and Ethernet ports.
Among the other advanced features of the M10 V3, we can mention:
With its blend of technologies, compact and versatile format, numerous customization options, and ease of use, the NAD M10 V3 stands out as the ideal amplifier for creating a connected and scalable hi-fi system. Whether you use it in a classic stereo system, multi-zone, or even in a 4.1 home theater setup, it will adapt to your needs and musical desires for many years.
What are the main differences between the M10 V3 and the previous M10 V2 model?
The M10 V3 retains the strengths of the M10 V2 while adding an MM phono input, support for Dirac Live Bass Control to optimize subwoofers, a new ES9039 DAC, and a new remote control.
Can I control the M10 V3 other than through the BluOS app?
Yes, in addition to the app, the M10 V3 can be controlled via its front touchscreen, the provided remote control, AirPlay 2, Spotify and Tidal Connect, Roon, Alexa or Siri voice commands, or even integrated into a home automation system.
What types of speakers can I pair with the M10 V3?
With its power of 2x100W at 8 Ω and its ability to go below 4 ohms, the M10 V3 will accommodate most hi-fi speakers on the market, from bookshelf to floor-standing and compact models. Its very low output impedance and high damping factor ensure good control of the speakers.
Can the M10 V3 be integrated into a home theater system?
Yes, the M10 V3 can be paired with BluOS-compatible wireless surround speakers to create a 4.0, 4.1, or 4.2 channel system. It then decodes Dolby Digital tracks received via its HDMI eARC input. The subwoofer outputs are configurable via the BluOS app.
