The TV is magnificent, it’s super thin and the picture is sublime—I’m rediscovering my DVDs and Blu-rays. I recommend it.

The Samsung TQ65S92F embodies the convergence of cutting-edge OLED technology and artificial intelligence, offering a balanced proposition in the Korean manufacturer’s 2025 lineup. This 65-inch model relies on an OLED panel featuring 8.3 million self-emissive pixels and the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor to optimize every aspect of visual and audio rendering.
The TQ65S92F adopts a minimalist aesthetic characteristic of OLED panels. The Graphite Black frame discreetly surrounds the screen, creating that impression where the image seems to float in space. The panel thickness reaches only 39.9 mm at its thinnest point, cleverly concealing the slightly thicker electronic housing at the rear.
The Simple Plus Blade stand in Space Titan finish ensures remarkable stability despite the 22.5 kg total weight. Its central design allows placement of a soundbar in front of the television without obstructing the image. The television remains compatible with VESA 300 × 200 mm wall mounting.
The connectivity proves generously dimensioned with four HDMI 2.1 ports capable of handling a 4K signal at 144 Hz, all eARC compatible. Two USB-A ports, an optical audio output, an Ethernet port, and terrestrial/satellite/cable antenna inputs with dual tuner function complete this offering.
The QD-OLED (Quantum Dot OLED) panel of the TQ65S92F generates absolute blacks thanks to its self-emissive pixels that can switch off individually. This fundamental characteristic completely eliminates blooming around bright elements and offers theoretically infinite contrast.
The NQ4 AI Gen3 processor analyzes each scene in real time to optimize brightness, contrast, and colors. The 4K AI Upscaling Pro function enhances low-resolution content via machine learning algorithms. The Real Depth Enhancer amplifies the contrast between foreground and background, reproducing the natural perception of spatial depth.
Pantone Validated certification guarantees accurate rendering of 2140 Pantone colors and 110 skin tone shades. Color Booster Pro enriches the chromatic palette without distorting color authenticity. HDR processing relies on HDR10+ and HLG standards with Auto HDR Remastering Pro that dynamically adjusts each scene.
The native 100 Hz refresh rate can reach 144 Hz via Motion Xcelerator 144Hz. Combined with OLED response time under 0.5 ms, this capability guarantees exemplary fluidity in action.
FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility ensures adaptive synchronization with AMD graphics cards. ALLM automatically detects game launch to minimize latency. VRR maintains fluidity even during framerate variations.
The Game Bar offers instant access to various features like Mini Map Zoom to enlarge mini-maps. The Gaming Hub centralizes access to cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming or GeForce NOW.
The 2.1.2 channel audio architecture delivers 60 watts RMS with two main channels, an integrated subwoofer, and two height channels. Wireless Dolby Atmos precisely positions each sound element in three-dimensional space.
Object Tracking Sound synchronizes sound with on-screen action, creating the illusion that sound comes directly from moving objects. Q-Symphony enables joint use of integrated speakers with a compatible Samsung soundbar. Adaptive Sound Pro optimizes equalization according to program type, while Active Voice Amplifier Pro automatically adjusts dialogue volume based on ambient noise.
Tizen with One UI 2025 benefits from 7 years of guaranteed software updates. Bixby and Alexa voice assistants are natively integrated. The SmartThings hub transforms the television into a home automation control center compatible with Matter.
Vision AI features include Live Translate for instant translation, Click to Search to obtain contextual information, and Universal Gesture for gesture navigation. Multi View allows displaying up to two sources simultaneously. AirPlay compatibility and bidirectional mirroring facilitate content sharing with mobile devices.
The TM2560E remote control integrates a solar panel eliminating the need for traditional batteries. A dedicated button accesses AI functions, while the integrated microphone captures voice commands. In case of insufficient light exposure, a USB-C port allows occasional quick recharging.
For the S92F series in Europe, only the 65-inch size uses a QD-OLED panel, while all other sizes (42”, 48”, 55”, 77”, and 83”) use WOLED panels. Samsung does not manufacture QD-OLED panels in 42, 48, and 83 inches, so these sizes always use WOLED panels regardless of market.
The TQ65S92F represents a regional variant of the S90F, specifically adapted for certain European markets. The differences mainly concern the audio system (60W with full OTS versus 40W with OTS Lite on the standard S90F) and some regional software optimizations. The panel, processor, and gaming features remain identical. The “TQ” suffix generally indicates marketing in France and Spain.
The integrated photovoltaic cell recharges with any light source, natural or artificial. Normal exposure to ambient light in a living room generally suffices to maintain the charge. Samsung indicates that one day of solar charging allows several days of normal use. In case of complete discharge, the USB-C port allows quick recharging in a few dozen minutes. This technology effectively eliminates the need to replace batteries, representing an appreciable cost saving and environmental gesture over the product’s lifespan.
