The leather handle makes it easy to move from room to room. Three colors are available: Midnight Blue, Duck Egg, and Pastel Cream, each with gold accents on the top panel.

The control panel has been completely redesigned. Two knobs—one for volume, the other for tuning—offer satisfying tactile control. Dedicated buttons provide access to modes, menus, alarms, and favorite presets. This layout makes everyday navigation easier without constantly diving into menus. Three “favorite” buttons instantly recall your most-listened stations without scrolling through the full list.

Bluetooth streaming and extended connectivity

The radio thus doubles as a wireless speaker, ready to play content from platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, or BBC Sounds.

A 3.5 mm auxiliary input accepts wired sources: CD player, TV, projector, or any device with an audio output. A 3.5 mm headphone output allows private listening—ideal for late-night podcasts or to avoid disturbing others. The Revival Mini 2 includes two independent alarms, each of which can wake you with a DAB station, FM station, or a buzzer. A snooze function and a programmable sleep timer round out the features. Placed on a bedside table, the screen displays the time when the radio is off and plugged in, serving as a clock.

The Mini 2 runs on mains power via the supplied adapter for continuous home use. For greater mobility, it takes four AA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable). Roberts claims up to 11 hours of runtime with quality batteries, enabling portable use in the garden, on a picnic, or in a workshop.

A built-in charger recharges AA NiMH batteries when the radio is plugged into the mains and switched off. This hybrid solution offers the best of both worlds: the convenience of continuous power and the freedom of a portable radio. Simply insert rechargeable batteries into the compartment and leave the unit plugged in to charge them automatically.
