The Flexson desk stand elegantly corrects this flaw by slightly raising the Sonos ERA 100 to direct its sound output toward the listening area. A simple, compact solution that requires no assembly.

A tilt designed for nearfield listening

The Sonos ERA 100 features two angled tweeters and a woofer that’s 25% larger than its predecessor’s. This stereo configuration makes the most of wide sound dispersion, but when the speaker sits flat on a low surface (desk, bedside table, kitchen counter), part of that projection goes above or below the listener.

The Flexson stand raises the speaker at a fixed angle that redirects mids and highs towards the ear height of a seated person. The improvement is noticeable on voices and instrumental details, two ranges where the ERA 100 excels. On a desk, where listening is done at close range, this axis correction prevents the effect of sound “going past you.”

Same footprint as the speaker

With a footprint of 120 × 140 mm, the stand occupies the same surface area as the ERA 100 itself (130 × 120 mm). Once the speaker is in place, the whole setup doesn’t stick out: the base visually disappears under the curve of the speaker.

The added height is 56.6 mm. The stand weighs 270 grams. These figures reflect a minimalist design: Flexson’s aim was to raise and tilt the speaker, not to showcase it on a pedestal.

ABS and steel, understated build

The base combines a steel frame with ABS elements. Steel provides the rigidity needed to support the ERA 100’s 2 kg without bending, while ABS ensures contact with the speaker and the supporting surface. No visible rubber, no moving parts, no adjustments required.

The product comes pre-assembled. Just place the speaker on top. No clips, no screws, no tools. The ERA 100 rests in a recessed shape that hugs its base and holds it in place by its own weight.

Black or white, to match the speaker

Flexson offers the stand in two finishes: black and white. They match the two ERA 100 color options. The ABS plastic uses the same matte tone as the speaker, while the steel remains unobtrusive under the frame. The result is a coherent visual block, with no material or gloss contrast.
