Replacing the original OM-10E on a THORENS TD 190-2, this 2M Blue delivers greater precision. The highs are more detailed without being aggressive, the mids are clearer, and the lows are more powerful yet very clean!

Very improved compared to 2m Red.
Very analytic, much better lows!
Serious upgrade for sure!

Honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised by the leap forward compared to the RED. Everything is better: the timbre of the instruments, the presence of the vocals, and the background layers. Highly recommended ++

I find that this cartridge (and the 2M series in general) offers outstanding value for money. It is very well balanced and clearly stands out from its little sister, the RED, thanks to its definition in vocals and midrange.
The cartridge has features that make it compatible with many tonearms, although it can sometimes be difficult or even impossible to mount on certain headshells due to its width.

Excellent cartridge as a replacement for a worn-out Grado on my 50-year-old Barthe! Very good value for money and a nice bonus: the cutout near the stylus allows you to aim precisely where the needle should land on the record.

A good cartridge, with good reproduction of high and low frequencies. Personally, I find the recommended tracking force of 1.8 grams to be a lot, but I respect the manufacturer's recommendations. When listening, it also depends on the vinyl records - the sound is different between new 180 gram records and old ones from the 80s.

The cartridge is of very good quality. It is necessary to spend the time required to adjust the alignment, but the result is worth the investment.
Very pleasant surprise.

Ortofon 2M Blue: A good cartridge that reproduces slightly finer and more detailed treble than the 2M Red. However, I did not notice any difference for the bass and midrange registers. For a clearer improvement, you would need to consider moving up to the 2M Bronze, but the price is not the same! T.

Mounted on a Pro-Ject debut turntable. Very balanced sound. The frequency response is particularly flat, neutral in terms of timbre accuracy, with good reproduction of dynamics!
Pros: Easy to mount and position cartridge using Ortofon alignment protractor, excellent value for money.
Cons: No complaints at this price point.

I bought this cartridge to equip a Thorens 209 turntable. It replaces the AT cartridge originally supplied with the turntable, and the results are remarkable - the sound is better in every way. As for HCS, it's perfect as usual, with a great price and immediate shipping.
Pros: Superb product.
Cons: None.

This cartridge does not "lie".....on the contrary, it reveals sonic information that I had not, until now, perceived or even heard. In the classical repertoire (beautiful 3D image of the orchestra) but also in jazz and original or dubbed versions, it seems perfectly at ease and does not produce any fatigue or auditory weariness. A small practical detail for adjusting the cartridge: it would be better if a few silicone washers were added to the mounting kit. In any case, I am delighted with this choice.
Pros:
- Dynamic, precise and detailed cartridge.
Cons:
- Impractical cartridge cover.

Much finer cell in the midrange and treble compared to the 2M RED it replaces. Value for money
Pros: finesse in the midrange and treble.
Cons: given the shape, difficulty in adjustment.

This 2M Blue cartridge is very well suited to my 9" Denon S-shaped tonearm, which expands its range and doesn't limit it to just lightweight tonearms. I am satisfied with the quality/price ratio of this 2M Blue cartridge... I wouldn't have gone higher in price, so thanks to Home Ciné Solution for letting me benefit from this promotion :)
Pros:
- Highly recommended cartridge with good natural definition without being analytical and an extended frequency response.
Cons:
- The stylus guard is a bit difficult to put back in place.

Very good cartridge that undeniably surpasses its little sister, the RED 2M. The balance of the bass and the finesse of the treble are a true delight. Mounting it on an S-shaped tonearm requires very precise adjustment (but no more annoying than mounting models from the same brand's OM series).
Pros: Balanced sound.
Cons: Mounting/adjustments on S-shaped tonearm.

Placed on a Denon DP-300F, the difference, while not enormous, is still very noticeable but takes some time before revealing its full potential. I found the bass much more balanced with this cartridge, whereas before on certain records I had to adjust the EQ on my amp and thus lose the "direct source". The highs are logically better reproduced and the frequency range is extended. A very appreciable gain. I also found that the stereo image is more open than before, without quite reaching what is found on some CD players.
Pros: well-balanced bass.
Cons: price (but that's the nature of the vinyl system).
