JBL is an American audio electronics company founded in 1946 by James Bullough Lansing. Their main products are loudspeakers, associated with electronics. There are two independent divisions within the company - JBL Consumer for the consumer market and JBL Professional which produces professional equipment for studios, concert halls, cinema and car audio installations. The number of patents held by the brand numbers in the hundreds and the brand remains a global reference today.
