Ortofon MC Quintet Red requires a phono preamp with a minimum gain of 60dB, so be careful with your choice.
Very good sound quality, warm feel, fine grain, perfect definition.

For the price, it's a good cartridge. Of course, you need to have a suitable MC input, because after trying different devices (transformer and preamp), you can easily notice differences.
Pros: fits most turntables with a light tonearm.
Cons: haven't found any yet.
