The A-50DA integrated amplifier is based on our Direct Energy digital amplification concept, particularly well-suited for new high-resolution sources. By reducing the internal audio signal path to minimize interference and distortion, this concept aims to achieve dynamic, pure, and detailed sound. To further optimize signal quality, the A-50DA features a construction that separates the pre-amplification section from the amplification block, an isolated power supply circuit, and a symmetrical construction to improve crosstalk.

The use of aluminum for the front panel and knobs further stiffens the chassis to minimize vibrations and also contributes to the quality of reproduction. The DAC used is the ESS SABRE³² ES9016S, allocating 4 parallel processing circuits for each channel at a maximum rate of 384 kHz and globally recognized for its analysis capabilities and extremely high signal-to-noise ratio. The connectivity offered by the A-50DA is plentiful and on par with the build quality: gold-plated for analog inputs, two digital inputs for connecting external sources to take advantage of the DAC processing, as well as large speaker terminals to handle all the power.

The A-50DA additionally offers a 384 kHz/32bit USB DAC input for directly connecting a computer. The asynchronous transfer controlled by a high-precision clock eliminates jitter to achieve very high signal reproduction accuracy. Compatible with 11.2 MHz DSD files, it also accepts LPCM files (up to 384 kHz/32bit). Finally, the A-50DA comes with a multifunction remote control that operates all the separate elements of our audiophile range.
