The intentionally simple design also minimizes the signal path as much as possible, reduces energy loss, and achieves low impedance for Hi-Fi performance.

“Floating and Balanced” Power Amplifier with Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (MOSFETs)

Unlike traditional power amplifiers - where power is supplied through a transistor and the negative polarity is connected to ground - the M-5000 is connected directly to the positive and negative poles of the output stage.

By floating the entire power amplifier circuit above ground, undesirable effects of minute voltage variations and background noise from the ground are eliminated.

This design also creates an ideal symmetrical configuration for using MOSFET power amplifiers, which improve efficiency for low-impedance speakers.

Rigid Chassis with Mechanical Grounding

The M-5000 has been designed from the ground up to minimize rigidity - reducing unwanted vibration for optimal sonic performance.

Additionally, it uses mechanical grounding by attaching the transformer, capacitors, and heat sink directly to the rigid structure using bolts, ensuring they are perfectly supported and eliminating the influence of vibrations.
