The Music Hall MMF-5.3 turntable features a double-layer plinth with insulating feet (viscoelastic cones) between the two layers designed to dampen vibrations and optimize sound quality. The Music Hall MMF-5.3 turntable has been specially designed for all audiophiles, replacing the Music Hall MMF-5.2 while retaining most of its technical characteristics: a synchronous DC motor for superior speed stability, a precision stainless steel main bearing lined with Teflon, adjustable feet with special vibration dampers, but the evolution focuses on a new 9-inch Pro-Ject carbon fiber tonearm for even greater precision.
Ortofon has optimized the design for ease of cartridge mounting, as well as weight and size to fit the most common turntables on the current market. The 2M series offers excellent compatibility when used in an assortment of playback systems and with a wide variety of phono preamps.
The 2M Blue adds more dynamics and resolution, more open sounds, and reproduces more details compared to the 2M Red model.

Aesthetically stunning, with a magnificent black lacquer finish. The sound quality is exceptionally transparent, with great finesse and balance. The Ortofon cartridge delivers a detailed and delicate playback, yet also very dynamic depending on the groove it is tasked to read.
The included cables are unsurprisingly quite average, so they should be replaced to match the high performance of this top-tier turntable…
