Zidoo Z9X

Premium 4K HDR Experience

The Z9X is a 4K UHD media player with a powerful graphics engine for home cinema. Compared to the last generation, it features a significant improvement in audio and video decoding, especially support for HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision, which has filled the market vacancy. Meanwhile, it’s still a cost-effective and high-performance model.

Top-level HDR10+

Z9X takes the lead by adding HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technology. HDR10+ technology can not only display a maximum brightness of up to 4000 nits, but also accurately process metadata for each frame. Namely, colors and brightness levels are obtained frame by frame and scene by scene, images can be displayed in detail with wide dynamic contrast and richer colors.

Dolby Vision VS10 Technology

Z9X integrates the Dolby Vision VS10 image engine, which supports low-latency Dolby Vision output (LLDV). Dolby Vision has adopted advanced dynamic metadata processing technology, so that the most appropriate brightness can be produced for the images and scenes of each frame. Shadows are darker while highlights are brighter. Even in dark and dimly lit environments, it could also display the best visual effect.

Meanwhile, VS10 is a powerful engine, regardless of formats (Dolby Vision, HDR, HLG, SDR, etc.) or display devices, whether it is HDR output or SDR conversion, all could retain color accuracy and bring a good experience to customers. Even normal TVs could benefit from Dolby Vision technology.

12-bit Color Depth

The new Z9X image engine not only supports 10-bit decoding and output (about 1.07 billion colors) at 4K 60Hz resolution, but also supports a higher 12-bit color depth (about 68 billion colors); 12-bit has vivid colors and natural color transition.

Android 9.0

Based on the in-depth development of Android 9.0, the system performance of Z9X has been greatly improved with better stability and compatibility. Masses of applications could be installed. DRM widevine L1 is also supported.
