Great voice reproduction, good power even at -30, config 3.1 Aria 906 as front, CC900 center, and XTZ 10.17 Edge subwoofer. Just having a hard time feeling the bass with my setup.

I made my own home theater speaker set from existing speakers and midrange-tweeter horns that I crafted myself on a wood lathe, along with a central subwoofer built like a mini Klipsch Scala. It's a very pure and dynamic setup. I needed an amp to bring it all together, and the Anthem worked wonders with its microphone and ARC Genesis room correction. I never tire of it - the sound is pure and it can deliver serious power in a normal-sized room (Peter Gabriel's "Back in Front" is a gem). For home theater, it's simply stunning. I'm thrilled with my choice.

It replaces a Marantz SR6013, and not just by a little - it's clearly far superior in terms of power, rendering, spatialization, bass and subwoofer management.
The amp arrived with the infamous crazy fan problem. Updating the firmware didn't fix it. It was while performing the calibration that the amp did another update (not the firmware) which resolved this issue. Since then, not a whisper.
Aside from the WiFi management which I find rather strange (since the calibration, the amp created an open WiFi network with no security to connect to it), for my "simple" use - i.e. a projector, a console, a media player, 5.1 sound - I'm thrilled with this purchase. My speakers, which are not very large but not very small either - B&W HTM71 200W center and 706 120W bookshelf speakers for the front - are clearly much better utilized since I got this amp. With the Marantz, I always felt like I was underutilizing the speakers and turning it up loud to not get much in return. Now, it's the complete opposite. The bass from the subwoofer is also much less boomy than before.

You can feel the quality is there, but be careful - it was a huge hassle for me to do the updates. I had to go through a PC, and you can't change the amp source when it's turned off, which for me is a big negative point.

Good quality. The plastic caps on the speaker connections were a bit confusing. Too bad there's no radio (tuner).

An excellent amplifier, despite the various comments about the fan noise, which in my case is inaudible. Good power reserve, aesthetically successful. Two downsides: an indecent OSD for settings, with a display worthy of the 80s, and the impossibility on the 540 models to upgrade the HDMI cards to 8k. This is reserved for the 740 and 1140 models.

Superb bass rendering, great coherence and spatialization, the attacks are crisp without trailing, huge dynamics.
The amp only powers my surrounds (Klipsch RF-62MK2), with power amps for the rest of my 7.2 setup.
I'm curious to try the amp on my center one day and see how it sounds (Klipsch RC-64). The amp manages and prevents potential issues in case of excessive use for both the amp and speaker, so we'll see.
I recommend this product for people who prefer fewer speakers but with better quality.
Note that Atmos, even without height speakers, is utilized by the amp. I can confirm the Atmos codec, i.e. object-based audio, works on 5.1 or 7.1! 😉
Enjoy!

High-quality amplifier, but the fan noise is very disturbing (frequency of startup + noise generated).

Very good. Just one downside for the quality - the sturdiness of the packaging upon receipt.

Wow, a top-of-the-line product!
The "ARC" calibration system has no competitor on the market! It's the main strength of this amp.
Positives in my opinion:
+ The ARC calibration system.
+ The output power.
+ The audio quality.
+ The build quality (it's clearly a high-end product).
+ The user interface
Negatives in my opinion:
- Device is finicky with firmware and updates
- Device is also finicky about which HDMI cables are used
- Sometimes the device displays "no signal" and no picture or sound comes out. You have to restart the device each time this happens.
Excellent product overall, just a few stability issues with the device (firmware and operational bugs) that I hope will be fixed.

Significant difficulties during initial setup.
Upon unboxing: The ARC calibration returns an error message when attempting to connect to the amp. Tested on a PC via Ethernet and a Mac via Wi-Fi. No results. The application is non-functional.
The discrete codes for direct access to HDMI inputs 1 to 7 provided by Anthem are non-functional.
The test tones from the webUI application do not work on the rear surround and Atmos channels.
The IR input on the back does not work (with Global Caché and Demopad modules).
Solution:
The firmware update using the web application that controls the amplifier (http://amp's IP) has a bug. It only partially updates (firmware only) but not the MCU, DSP and LCDC.
This was the source of all the anomalies described. (ARC, non-functional infrared codes, etc.).
Since the device is not delivered with up-to-date software, nothing works correctly out of the box.
It is imperative to update directly (physically) on the device... and not via http...
Very (very) tricky...
After that, the device manages to do what it is designed for.
I use it as an AV pre-amplifier in front of a NAD 7-channel power amp.
