The Mediterraneo turntable combines beauty and technical perfection in a unique instrument dedicated to musical pleasure. The 60mm thick undulating base is based on catenary curves, an extremely effective concept developed by Renaissance pillars Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei.

Made of solid Italian walnut, the chassis takes advantage of the qualities of this noble material such as its exceptional elasticity, strength and high density. The triple-layer structure is reinforced by a fascinating 20mm thick polished acrylic top plate and a 3mm steel plate that improves its exceptional damping capacity and stability. The wooden base rests on three anodized aluminum feet with an elegant tapered design.

Sound Qualities

The 45mm thick high-precision platter made of high-density POM is belt-driven thanks to an exclusive control system developed on a Quadral-Core microcontroller optimized by an audio converter. The power control reconstructs the AC wave to perfectly power the 12v synchronous motor, eliminating vibrations while improving its power, offering the best dynamics and the finest details.

The power supply unit electronically controls the speeds of 33⅓ rpm and 45 rpm as well as the precision adjustments, recording all the settings in memory.

The Mediterraneo features an 80mm drive shaft made of the hardest rectified steel for perfect operating fluidity. The drive shaft ball system ensures the smoothest platter rotation and reduces potential noise.
