Each part and sub-component was carefully examined to optimize its specific function and ensure that the whole was perfectly complementary. Intentionally Beautiful and Purposefully Functional

The faceted cabinet design of the XR series subwoofers is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also designed to be functional. The geometric faceted shape allows for an elegant distribution of the load supported by the cabinet, which must house a powerful woofer. This design offers greater strength and rigidity than traditional rectangular designs.

Moreover, the custom 5cm thick MDF front baffle adds extra rigidity to the cabinet and serves as the necessary backbone to withstand the brutal forces of the massive woofer and magnet inside. Thanks to this clever design, the XR speakers deliver exceptional sound quality.

Maximum Performance, Minimal Footprint

It’s easy to get powerful bass from a massive speaker, but it takes a lot of engineering to achieve this level of performance from such a small size. That’s why, to maximize the performance-to-size ratio of the XR series, Paradigm engineers opted for a vertical mounting system that allows more woofer to be installed in the same space while controlling the subwoofer’s footprint.

Thanks to Paradigm’s exclusive Active Ridge technology, which maximizes woofer excursion, this clever design delivers clear, articulate, and powerful bass, perfect for all music genres and the most demanding home theater systems.

Remote Tuning and Control

To achieve quality performance, power must be paired with optimal control. That’s why Paradigm developed a simple and powerful mobile control app to adjust and fine-tune the performance of the XR series.

With the control app, you can easily access all the XR’s sound settings and adjustments, such as volume, phase, low-pass filter, DSP mode, and more, right from your seat. You can hear the effects of your adjustments in real-time from your listening position, making precise and quick adjustments easy. With the XR series mobile control app, you can now enjoy sound perfectly tailored to your preferences without leaving your comfortable seat.
