The PlayerMini is equipped with the Amlogic S905X4-K processor, a high-end SoC featuring four ARM A55 cores for enhanced performance. The Mali G31 MP2 GPU, coupled with ultra-fast LPDDR4X and eMMC memory, ensures exemplary user interface fluidity and accelerates video indexing.

This player supports the latest HDR standards, including:

• Dolby Vision: for ultra-vivid images with vibrant colors and striking contrasts. The Dolby Vision VS10 video processing engine optimizes image quality regardless of content type (SDR, HDR, Dolby Vision).
• HDR10+: this dynamic HDR technology adjusts brightness and contrast scene by scene to faithfully reproduce the director’s intent.

4K Ultra HD compatibility allows you to enjoy high-resolution videos up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz. And thanks to the integrated SDR > HDR and HDR > SDR conversion technologies, you’ll always benefit from optimized image quality, even on a Full HD TV.

The PlayerMini supports a wide range of video formats, including ISO, MKV, BD, and UHD files with menu display. AV1 and HEVC video codecs are managed, as well as high-resolution audio formats (DSD, AIFF, FLAC, ALAC) and multichannel home theater (AC-4, Auro3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X).

R_video: An Intuitive and Customizable Media Center

At the heart of the PlayerMini is R_video, a modern Media Center offering a smooth and intuitive user experience. Its responsive interface allows you to easily explore your collection of movies, series, and concerts. R_video automatically analyzes your video files, whether stored locally or on a NAS, to extract information (cover art, synopsis, cast…) and media (trailer, wallpaper, soundtrack…).

Numerous customization options are offered:

• Adding custom banners (Director’s Cut, Pure Audio Blu-ray…)
• Parental control
• Filtering and sorting by various criteria
• Automatic playback of soundtracks during navigation

R_video’s exclusive AI ensures precise identification of movies by relying on its own database of high-quality multilingual cover art.

Designed for Multiroom

Thanks to its compact format, the PlayerMini is ideal for streaming video content in multiple rooms of your home or on your yacht. Despite its small size, it offers stunning image quality and compatibility with major multichannel audio formats.

You can connect external hard drives via the two USB ports, and even add more using a USB hub. If you own a R_volution NAS, integration will be completely seamless and automated. Compatibility with other NAS brands is ensured, with manual configuration of access paths.

A Well-Thought-Out Remote Control

The PlayerMini comes with a backlit infrared remote control, providing optimal ease of use even in the darkness of a home theater room. Its direct access buttons allow you to instantly switch from one app to another or quickly adjust settings like resolution, aspect ratio, subtitles, or audio tracks.

The remote also features dedicated buttons for skipping forward or backward in increments of 10 seconds or 1 minute, as well as a true STOP button.

Thanks to the long-range infrared sensor (60° / 8m) of the PlayerMini, you can control it even if it’s placed behind your TV cabinet doors or in a remote technical bay. The support for IP control codes further expands integration possibilities.

A Custom Power Supply

The PlayerMini comes with an external 12V power supply unit. However, the most demanding audiophiles can replace it with a custom power supply thanks to the dedicated power input connector. A special touch that will delight owners of high-end home theater systems.
