the very high level of sound quality matches what one could expect from reading reviews and comments in the press and on specialized forums (product not listened to before purchase). Only one point raises a question: connecting the female plug of the Audioquest NRG-Y3 power cable (bought from Homecine Solutions at the same time as the AM 300 Evo) to the amp’s mains socket results in enough play that the amp’s power cuts out when it’s moved. Audioquest plug too small or Atoll socket too large? Quite surprising given the reputation of these two brands!
