A pebble-like design that breaks with convention

The Pulse Cinema Mini abandons the traditional rectangular soundbar form for a rounded silhouette. This 85-centimeter-wide aluminum chassis wrapped in woven acoustic fabric creates an organic aesthetic that blends naturally into the living space. Bluesound offers two colorways: a black version with an anthracite grille for contemporary interiors, and a white variant dressed in beige fabric that adds a soft touch to bright spaces.

The automatic orientation detection system is one of the major innovations of this new generation. Thanks to a built-in sensor and adaptive DSP processing, the bar automatically adjusts its acoustic parameters depending on whether it sits on furniture or is wall-mounted. This on-board intelligence eliminates the need for manual setup, making installation truly intuitive. The included wall mount, with its drilling template and complete set of screws, ensures a clean and secure wall installation.

Sophisticated acoustic configuration in a compact form

Despite its modest size, the Pulse Cinema Mini houses a carefully orchestrated array of eight drivers. Each stereo channel features a 19-millimeter tweeter for high frequencies and a 38-millimeter midrange driver, ensuring detailed vocal reproduction and a precise soundstage. The low-frequency section relies on two 102-millimeter woofers, complemented by two passive radiators of the same diameter that extend bass response without requiring additional enclosure volume.

Intelligent 280-watt DSP amplification dynamically distributes power among the various drivers. BluOS: the high-resolution multiroom brain

Native integration of the BluOS platform turns the Pulse Cinema Mini into a genuine connected audio hub. This audio operating system developed by Lenbrook enables playback of high-resolution files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, including MQA and DSD256. Compatibility extends to virtually all digital formats: MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG, OPUS, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, and AIFF.

The BluOS Controller app, available on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS, centralizes control of the audio ecosystem. The recently redesigned version 4.0 interface organizes access to music sources more intuitively. Over twenty streaming services are directly integrated, including Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, and Radio Paradise. AirPlay 2 and Roon Ready further expand integration options.

The multiroom function lets you synchronize multiple BluOS devices to create distinct or grouped listening zones. This capability extends to products from other brands using BluOS, including NAD, PSB Speakers, DALI, and Monitor Audio, creating a truly interoperable audio ecosystem.

Connectivity designed for modern simplicity

The HDMI eARC interface is the primary link to the TV, automatically handling decoding of Dolby formats up to TrueHD. For older TVs, the Toslink optical input ensures compatibility. The stereo RCA input welcomes traditional analog sources, while the USB-A port enables direct playback from storage devices formatted in FAT32 or NTFS.

Networking is available via Gigabit Ethernet for maximum stability or dual-band Wi‑Fi 5 for more installation flexibility. Bidirectional Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive allows not only audio reception from mobile devices, but also transmission to wireless headphones for discreet late-night listening.

IR learning deserves special mention: the bar can memorize signals from any TV remote for unified control of volume and basic functions. The proximity sensor activates the touch interface only when a hand approaches, preserving a clean aesthetic the rest of the time.

Scalable expansion to a full surround system

The subwoofer output, available via wired RCA or proprietary wireless connection, allows you to add the Pulse Sub+ to reinforce low frequencies. This wireless link uses Bluesound’s Bonded Links technology for perfect synchronization with no perceptible latency.

Scalability doesn’t stop there: Pulse M or Pulse Flex 2i speakers can be paired as rear channels to create a true wireless 5.1 system.
