High-resolution files burned to CD will only be recognized if they are in MP3 format. For native playback of high-resolution files, a network player or dedicated digital transport is required.

What is the main difference between the CD II and the CD III? Beyond the addition of a display, the major difference is the implementation of gapless (seamless) playback. This feature, sorely missing from the CD II, finally allows you to listen to live albums, symphonies, and concept albums without artificial pauses between tracks. This improvement transforms the listening experience for many musical genres.

Does the optical output significantly improve sound quality? The optical output transmits the digital signal without conversion, enabling the use of an external converter.
