With its ultra-flat design (60mm height) in brushed aluminum with a scratch-resistant coating, the SpeakerBoard HTE80 integrates perfectly into a home cinema environment. This new format offers the possibility to place a screen up to 47 inches (30 kg) on top, or to install it on a shelf of a TV stand.
The HTE80 sound bar connects to both TVs and smartphones/tablets. It has an HDMI and optical input as well as Bluetooth connectivity to easily connect to a compatible TV, especially SmartViera. Data exchange with smartphones or tablets is facilitated by NFC technology, which allows establishing a Bluetooth connection with a simple touch.
The HTE80 sound bar is compatible with the Panasonic Smart Streaming app. Available on iOS and Android, it allows controlling all audio devices within range, whether connected via DLNA, AirPlay or Bluetooth.
Dynamic bass is reproduced using two subwoofers and the Aero Stream port of the main unit. The sound is thus clear and powerful. Volume control can be done via the TV remote for simplicity.

Very good value for money. Various really effective parameters to choose from... discreet, just an HDMI and you're off. Good power for a room of classic dimensions, and ultra-discreet look. All good for the price, there's better for sure but then... it's no longer the same budget. For info, used with a Panasonic TX55vt 60. One last word about HOME CINEMA SOLUTIONS, perfect telephone advice several times, available ok, sent on time and impeccable follow-up. This may seem normal, but thanks to them.
Pros: simple, practical, good rendering.
Cons: rather wide on shelf.

The sound is excellent, the bass is impressive and completely changes the sound of the TV. I use the analog input (I connected a Y cable to simultaneously have the audio headset from the hi-fi system).
