The latest addition to the brand’s amplifier lineup, the Marantz PM7005, complements the stereo HiFi amplifier offerings and aligns with the manufacturer’s PM series products, featuring a classic yet classy design. Its amplification delivers 2 x 60 W of power into 8 Ω, combined with Schottky diodes and current feedback circuits, a symmetrical construction, heat sinks, and a reinforced metal chassis. Not to mention the exclusive audiophile-grade HDAM-SA3 components already used in the limited edition KI Pearl Lite series.
In terms of connectivity, it includes a gold-plated MM Phono input, the new CS4398 DAC converter with gold-plated optical, coaxial, and asynchronous USB-B inputs for ultimate sound quality and decoding of DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz or PCM 192 kHz/24-bit files.

I've been using this amp for 1 month now and with a bit of hindsight, I'm extremely satisfied; the power is there and the sound quality is very accurate thanks to the DAC (my MP3s can't believe it). And thanks Qobuz! In terms of connections, there are plenty of options but the USB 2 output via my PC gets a special mention. If I had to give it a rating, it's 5 out of 5 and for me, there are no drawbacks. Thank you Marantz!
Pros: The best of the best.
Cons: None.

Nice design, easy to use, too bad there is no audio output for bass.... The USB DAC port is handy when you have a Windows PC but I can't find the driver for Linux on the manufacturer's website.
Pros: good sound reproduction, simple and effective.
Cons: where can I find a LINUX driver for the USB DAC?
