Features and Improvements

The Deva Pro presents several improvements compared to its predecessor, the Deva. First of all, it is equipped with an acoustically invisible “stealth” magnet, which allows sound waves to pass through without interference, thus reducing distortion. Moreover, the Deva Pro’s “supernano” diaphragm is 80% thinner than previous models, allowing for better imaging and faster response. The Deva Pro’s Bluemini R2R Bluetooth module is equipped with an R2R DAC designed by Hifiman, thus offering optimal audio quality.

The Hifiman Deva Pro comes in a black cardboard box, covered with a shiny black fabric inside. The headphone is securely held in place in the box. The Bluemini module is also included, wrapped in bubble wrap. In addition to the headphone and module, you will also find a 3.5 mm jack cable, a 3.5 mm to 6.35 mm jack adapter, a USB-C cable, and user manuals. Note that there is no carrying case included, likely to reduce costs.

Sound Quality

The Hifiman Deva Pro offers a wide soundstage, with good instrument separation and precise placement on the stage. The bass is deep and can be very enjoyable with the right music, although it is not perfectly linear. The headphone offers good response speed and fast transients. The clarity of details is also a strong point of the Deva Pro.
