The traditional front-facing woofer placement is replaced by a vertical positioning for 360° downward sound dispersion. Noise is filtered out, internal standing wave effects are reduced, the Santorin’s position relative to walls is less critical, and bass reproduction is purer and deeper, always lively and dynamic.
The cellulose fiber-based diaphragm of the 21MT3 woofer ensures high power handling without distortion despite impressive sound pressure levels. Its light weight and good damping allow for bass that is both generous and fast. Paired with the 400 W peak power of the TS200 D amplifier, the dynamic effects of the Orion’s woofer are strikingly realistic, both for music and home theater.
