Initially, I had chosen another brand and a significantly more expensive model (LG). The picture quality is excellent, with deep blacks and a fairly natural image in "film maker" mode in a dimly lit environment, without excessive contrast or saturation. As a big consumer of Y videos, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality—I don't know to what extent the resampling technology contributes to this, but it's quite impressive. Homecine Solutions responded quickly to my question about availability, which was much appreciated, and delivery was fast. So far, it's one of the best purchases I've made this year.
