HDMI
The HDMI port is the standard digital video and digital audio interface on televisions, video projectors, home theater amplifiers, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and soundbars. A single cable carries both picture and sound, which simplifies cabling between sources and the display.
The HDMI 2.0 revision brought 4K at 60 Hz into widespread use. The HDMI 2.1 revision increases bandwidth to 48 Gbps and supports 4K at 120 Hz, 8K at 60 Hz, VRR, ALLM, and eARC, which sends a multichannel Dolby Atmos or DTS-HD audio stream back to an amplifier. To take full advantage of the maximum bandwidth, a certified Ultra High Speed cable is required.
