CD player

The CD-1000 MKII Deluxe is the centerpiece of Gold Note’s 1000 series for optical playback.

CD-1000 MKII Deluxe black

The CD-1000 MKII Deluxe combines a CD player and a high-quality digital-to-analog converter in a brushed aluminum chassis. The JPL-2800 transport, made in Austria by Stream Unlimited, is recognized as one of the best on the market. It provides optimal rotational stability to extract every bit of information from discs.

The Deluxe version features a Burr-Brown PCM1792A converter capable of processing signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz. A proprietary “Zero-Clock” synchronization clock reduces digital interference for smoother, more natural listening. Optical and coaxial inputs allow you to connect a TV or a network player. The output can operate at fixed or variable level, allowing direct connection to a power amplifier. The unit has balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs and remains compatible with Gold Note external upgrade modules (tube stages, dedicated power supplies).

Connected integrated amplifiers

The IS-1000 MKII is an all-in-one system that combines amplification, network player, digital converter, and preamplifier in a single unit. Two versions are available to suit different needs.

IS-1000 MKII Deluxe silver

The Deluxe version includes a phono preamplifier compatible with moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges. It also features the high-grade Burr-Brown PCM1792A converter. The amplifier delivers 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms in class A/B. The built-in network player provides access to streaming platforms Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, as well as web radios. The unit is Roon Ready and AirPlay compatible, and can be controlled via a smartphone app (iOS and Android). Connectivity includes balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog inputs.

IS-1000 MKII Line silver or black

The Line version retains all the streaming and amplification features but without the built-in phono preamplifier. It is suitable for listeners who do not use a turntable or who already own an external phono preamp. The converter is still the Burr-Brown PCM1796, powerful and musical. You get three analog inputs (1 XLR, 2 RCA), four digital inputs (3 optical, 1 coaxial), and a USB-A port for playback from a USB flash drive or hard drive. Network connection is available via Ethernet or Wi‑Fi.

Phono preamplifier

The PH-10 is Gold Note’s versatile phono preamplifier, designed to adapt to a very wide range of cartridges and setups.

PH-10 silver or black

The PH-10 supports MM and MC cartridges thanks to its 9 impedance settings (from 10 ohms to 47,000 ohms) and 4 gain levels. An interesting feature: it offers three equalization curves (RIAA, Decca London, American Columbia) to optimize playback of older records cut before the 1958 RIAA standardization. Each curve can be fine-tuned with an “Enhanced” setting that improves dynamics.

The PH-10 has two independent RCA inputs, each storing its own settings. This allows you to connect two tonearms or two turntables with different cartridges and switch instantly between the two configurations. The compact machined aluminum chassis (22 cm wide) integrates easily into an existing system. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs are available, as well as a switchable 10 Hz subsonic filter. An external PSU-10 power supply can be added to further improve performance.

Turntable

The Valore 425 Plus is a belt-drive manual turntable, handmade in Italy. Three finishes are available to suit different tastes.

Valore 425 Plus acrylic, walnut, or black

The Valore 425 Plus borrows the design language of Gold Note’s high-end turntables in a more accessible format. The 30 mm thick MDF plinth sits on three spiked feet to limit vibrations transmitted from the furniture. The 20 mm acrylic platter absorbs resonances and provides good inertia.

It comes with the 9-inch Gold Note B-5 tonearm, made in Italy with high-precision German ball bearings. Its dual counterweight can accommodate cartridges weighing up to 15 grams. The 12 V synchronous motor is driven by an external power supply that ensures stable and quiet rotation. Speed change (33 and 45 rpm) is electronic, with no need to handle the belt. A clear dust cover is included.

Phono cartridges

The Vasari range offers two moving magnet (MM) cartridges that share a computer-designed body optimized for groove tracking.

Vasari Gold

The Vasari Gold is the high-end model in the series. Its body is machined from a block of duralumin (7000-series aluminum alloy), a rigid material that limits resonances. The aluminum cantilever is fixed directly into the body to maximize rigidity. The elliptical stylus (7.5 × 15.5 microns) offers a good balance between precision and durability. Its 4 mV output level makes it compatible with all MM phono preamplifiers. The Alnico magnet contributes to strong dynamics.

Vasari Red

The Vasari Red is Gold Note’s entry-level model. Its photopolymer resin body damps vibrations and gives it a reduced weight of 7 grams, suitable for sensitive tonearms. The spherical stylus (15.5 microns) is less demanding in terms of setup and ideal for beginners or entry-level systems. It shares the same aluminum cantilever and the same 4 mV output level as the Gold.

Why this range

Gold Note is an Italian brand founded in 2012 near Florence, built on more than twenty years of experience designing audio equipment. Its products stand out for their artisanal manufacturing, precisely machined aluminum chassis, and a sonic signature often described as natural and dynamic.

This promotion makes it possible to build a complete, coherent system, from the turntable or CD player through to amplification, with products designed to work together. The available upgrade paths (external power supplies, tube stages) allow you to improve performance over time.

Validity: from January 7 to February 3, 2026.
