The innovative amplification topology based on current feedback and Marantz’s exclusive HDAM modules are the master elements of the SR5008. These technologies ensure a powerful and precise surround sound experience. This device also features network capabilities for seamless HD audio streaming from PCs and Android devices, as well as Internet radio, online services, and streaming via AirPlay from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. It also incorporates decoders for standard audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

The SR5008 also supports Apple Lossless, Gapless, and FLAC HD 192/24 formats, allowing you to access all desired metadata. Equipped with six HDMI inputs, including one on the front panel, it is immediately compatible with 3D/4K video and the ARC (Audio Return Channel) signal from ARC-compatible TVs. Non-HD resolution video signals can be upscaled to 4K. It effortlessly reproduces the most demanding scenes from action movies while delivering excellent sound quality, thanks to the latest Marantz audio technologies and the 180W of its 7 amplifiers. This combination renders every sound with clarity, precision, and dynamism.

Finally, the SR5008 incorporates a wide variety of useful functions, such as: Setup Assistant, “Auto Calibration” with Audyssey MultiEQ XT and Dynamic Volume Control; “Multi-room” with multi-source flexibility; and “video-off” mode to enjoy your music and movies in the dynamic style that has made Marantz famous. It also benefits from the Marantz Remote app, specially developed for iPhone and Android devices. All of this allows the SR5008 to offer an authentic combination of style, power, and ease of use.
