The new generation of Ultra HD Blu-Ray player has arrived, with 4K resolution and a brightness range from 1000 to 10,000 cd/m2. HDR technology delivers exceptional gradation and contrast, with the UB900 covering a color space more than twice that of a conventional space.
The technologies of Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, which form the basis of Blu-ray disc research and development, are implemented in Panasonic’s unique high-precision 4K Chroma processor. The color signals of 4K images (4:2:0) are interpolated to 4K (4:4:4) through a chromatic process using multi-tap filters, for natural textures and depth.
The THX-certified UB900 model reproduces the subtly nuanced colors and richness of detailed images intended by the film’s director while delivering hyper-realistic surround sound.
Since 4K video distribution on the internet is now supported by YouTube and Netflix, a wide variety of high-quality content is now at your fingertips.
Enjoy your vacation memories or photos of your family and friends taken with a camera or camcorder on your Ultra HD TV.
The UB900 model has been designed for high-resolution audio reproduction. In addition to conventional WAV/FLAC/MP3/AAC/WMA formats, DSD (5.6 MHz / 2.8 MHz) and ALAC music files can also be played.
Everything from signal processing to output is aimed at achieving exceptional sound quality. High-capacity electrolytic capacitors deliver powerful sound, while a Micra capacitor reduces digital noise from the power line.
Although its launch price remains high, if you want to upgrade to Ultra HD Blu-ray, the Panasonic DMP-UB900 player is a choice to consider, and probably the best available option at the moment.
