This video projector is compact in size, reasonably lightweight, and has a very understated design. The external power supply can be attached to the projector using two cable ties, but in my case, the three-point mounting of the wall bracket slightly overlaps the spot for the power supply, so it can’t be placed perfectly in its slot. I should also mention that the three mounting points on the projector are not centered at all, and the weight is very poorly balanced, which made the adjustment more complicated than expected. Some dimensions of the device are not specified in the manual’s specifications, which also made installation more difficult.
The black power supply remains slightly visible even with the projector mounted high up, which is a shame for this small aesthetic detail. The remote control is tiny and its buttons are not very ergonomic, but that doesn’t matter much to me since I only use the remote to set up the device. Once it’s configured, my whole system turns on and off via my Apple TV remote thanks to the CEC function.
The menus are very simple, and navigation is pleasant. I use my projector exclusively for home cinema, connected to an Apple TV, a Blu-ray player, and occasionally mirroring my computer.
The image quality and brightness are stunning compared to my old device. I was very satisfied with the factory settings in cinema mode and didn’t have to spend much time adjusting it.
