Roon Ready

Roon Ready is a certification issued by Roon Labs for network audio equipment (streamers, DACs, amplifiers, active speakers) that natively integrates the RAAT (Roon Advanced Audio Transport) transport protocol. This integration guarantees bit-perfect playback up to PCM 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD512, with no intermediate conversion or unwanted resampling between the source and the converter.

A Roon Ready device is automatically detected by the Roon Core software on the local network and is controlled from the Roon application, which combines the local library and streaming catalogs in a single interface with enriched metadata (cover art, biographies, credits, links between artists). The certification covers high-resolution audio transmission, multiroom synchronization, and precise bit-perfect volume control.
